Account and data deletion
This page explains how StudyVoice users can request deletion of their account and associated personal data. StudyVoice is developed by NEXTIMELABS S.R.L..
How to request deletion
- Open the StudyVoice app and sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Go to profile settings and select Delete Account.
- Confirm the request. For security reasons, you may be asked to sign in again before permanent deletion.
- If you cannot access the app, email us at info@studyvoice.app and include the email address linked to your StudyVoice account.
Data we delete
After your request, we delete or make no longer attributable to you the personal data linked to your StudyVoice account, including:
- account, authentication, and profile data, such as UID, email, and name;
- study preferences and account settings;
- uploaded or generated app content, including knowledge-base materials, transcripts, text, and study sessions;
- performance and progress data, such as scores, statistics, reports, and mock-exam results;
- push-notification tokens and device-related technical metadata.
Data retained and retention periods
Some data may be retained only where needed for legal obligations, security, fraud prevention, payment management, or protection of NEXTIMELABS S.R.L.rights. In particular:
- tax, accounting, purchase, or refund records may be retained for the periods required by applicable tax and accounting law, up to 10 years where applicable;
- technical and security logs may be retained for the time strictly needed to protect the service and investigate abuse or anomalies, typically up to 12 months unless specific security or legal-defense needs require a longer period;
- anonymized or aggregated data that no longer identifies a user may be kept for analytics and product improvement.
Request handling time
Email requests are processed after verifying the requester's identity. Deletion is completed within 30 days unless an extension is required for legal obligations or security checks. For formal communications, you can also contact the certified email address nextimelabs@pec.it.
